Museum of Paleontology

Since November 1997, the Praetorian Palace hosts the Museum of Paleontology, project born to study and display the paleontological, archeological and natural trasures of the area.
It’s divided in several parts: paleontology, man’s evolution, archeology and natural history, showing many fossil records and skeletal remains of two adults found buried with their child in Staggia.

ORARI
The museum can be opened on request, especially on public holidays (Sunday) with time 4 pm - 7 pm and during events and shows in the city centre. The entrance is free.
